What's Covered & What's Not

Coverage depends on the product type. Please review both sections carefully.

What's Covered

  • Durability and color stability of profiles or finished surfaces.
  • Strength and integrity of structural joints and assembled connections.
  • Continued functionality of core hardware.
  • Seal integrity of insulated glass units, including covered loss of sealed unit integrity that results in moisture between panes.
  • Infill or panel integrity where applicable to the specific product category.

What's Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Routine adjustment or maintenance of windows, doors, and hardware.
  • Condensation on the room-side or exterior-facing surface of the glass caused by humidity, ventilation, weather, or temperature differences.
  • Glass breakage occurring during use.
  • Damage that should have been identified before installation but was reported later.
  • Improper storage, mishandling, or inadequate protection after delivery.
  • Improper installation or installation-related defects.
  • Damage caused by aggressive cleaners, solvents, unsuitable tapes, abrasive materials, cement, lime, bleach, plaster, or construction contamination.
  • Building defects, structural movement, or site conditions unrelated to the product itself.
  • Unauthorized product modification.
  • Misuse, non-intended use, abuse, or negligence.
  • Flood, fire, wind, force majeure, and other natural disaster events.
  • Natural variation in shade, gloss, grain, texture, or batch appearance.
  • Insignificant defects that do not materially affect product performance.

Transparency You Can Rely On

Our warranty is built around clarity, not fine print designed to confuse.

We give you clearly defined terms for each product category — so you know exactly what is covered from day one. No vague language, no hidden conditions buried in documents.

  • Coverage terms defined per product category — no one-size-fits-all language.
  • Clear exclusions so you know what falls outside the scope before issues arise.
  • Defined claim process with typical resolution within 30 days of acceptance.
  • Separate product and installation warranties — each properly scoped.

If a covered issue arises, you'll have a clear path forward — with a transparent claim process and a committed team to guide you through it.

Important Details

Glass, Finish & Material Notes

Certain visual characteristics are considered inherent to architectural glazing and finished materials and are not treated as manufacturing defects. These may include natural glass color variation, light interference effects, temporary visual marks on insulated glazing under certain conditions, spacer-joining aesthetics, and natural variation in wood grain or finish behavior over time.

Delivery Inspection & Claim Deadlines

Please inspect products promptly upon delivery. Any visible external damage to glass, profiles, or finished surfaces must be reported within 14 days of purchase or delivery. Claims reported after that period may not be accepted.

Damage that should reasonably have been identified before installation must be reported before installation begins.

Product Warranty vs. Installation Warranty

Product warranty and installation warranty are separate.

This warranty covers eligible product-related defects only. Issues caused by improper installation, incorrect adjustment, or installation workmanship are not covered under the product warranty.

Installation warranty is provided by the installer or installation company responsible for the work.

Maintenance Requirements

To keep warranty coverage in force, products must be properly cleaned, maintained, and protected during use and during any nearby construction or renovation work.

  • Regular cleaning with suitable non-aggressive products.
  • Periodic hardware inspection and lubrication where required.
  • Checking seals and drainage paths.
  • Prompt removal of protective films, adhesive residue, silicone residue, and transport protections where applicable.
  • Protecting products during renovation or wet construction work.

For wood products specifically, protective film and transport protection should be removed immediately after installation and no later than 1 month from receipt. Wood hardware should also be maintained properly to preserve coverage.

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim, please contact Divetro in writing and include:

  • Your order number or invoice reference.
  • Installation address.
  • A clear description of the issue.
  • Photos showing the condition in detail.
  • Any additional supporting information requested for review.

If a claim is accepted, warranty service is generally performed as soon as possible and typically no later than 30 days from claim acceptance, unless objective circumstances require more time.

FAQ

Warranty begins when the product is delivered and accepted, and warranty rights apply after full payment has been made.

No. Product warranty and installation warranty are separate. Installation-related issues are the responsibility of the installer or installation company.

Visible external damage to glass, profiles, or surfaces must be reported within 14 days of purchase or delivery.

Condensation on the interior-facing or exterior-facing surface of the glass is not covered, as it is typically related to humidity, ventilation, weather, and temperature differences. However, moisture forming between the panes of a sealed insulated glass unit is a different condition and falls under the applicable sealed glass-unit coverage.

Improper installation, lack of maintenance, unauthorized modification, aggressive cleaning chemicals, construction contamination, storage damage, and misuse may all limit or void coverage.

Accepted claims are generally handled within 30 days from claim acceptance, although this may be extended for objective reasons.
